The SUNY Cortland Communication Disorders & Sciences (CDS) Department has an opening for a full-time faculty member and Audiologic Services Coordinator. General responsibilities include teaching courses related to hearing, hearing sciences, and hearing-related interventions in our undergraduate Speech and Hearing Sciences program and in our graduate Speech-Language Pathology program, and clinical training and supervision of graduate clinicians conducting hearing screenings. Other responsibilities include conducting hearing screenings and evaluations with members of the campus and surrounding communities, and service to the CDS Department, School of Professional Studies.

Major Responsibilities:
Teaching:
Expertise in the areas of hearing anatomy, hearing science, audiology, and aural rehabilitation is highly preferred, but all areas of expertise will be considered. Multiple areas of expertise are preferred.
Service:
Service to the department.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Doctor of Audiology (AuD).
Certification:
Hold or be eligible for American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence – Audiology (CCC-A).
Licensure:
Hold or be eligible for New York State license from the Office of the Professions to practice as an audiologist.
Preferred Qualifications:
