Open Rank Faculty Appointment, Speech-Language Pathology
The Speech Language Pathology Program at Pepperdine University seeks candidates for open rank faculty positions for its developing online graduate program - the Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. Successful candidates should have an earned terminal degree (academic doctorate), CCC-SLP, and commitment to student success. Preferred qualifications include experience with online teaching and an established research agenda or plan (including, but not limited to, previous publications, grant funding, and/or presentations at conferences).
The Master’s in Speech Language Pathology Program plans to enroll its first cohort of students in Fall 2025 (pending accreditation). Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue on a rolling basis until all faculty positions are filled. Regular full-time employment start date is negotiable and dependent upon program need. However, faculty will be provided with work-for-hire contracts to develop their online courses during the period between 5/1/2024 and 7/31/2025 to ensure their courses will be ready to teach beginning August 2025. The salary for this 12-month appointment will range from $110,000 to $180,000 and reflects what Pepperdine reasonably expects to pay for this faculty appointment.
