SLP Assistant Professor (tenure track)
The University of South Dakota invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program within the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The position is set to begin on August 22, 2025.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or Ed.D. in speech-language pathology or a related field.
- Ability to teach and provide clinical education.
- Ability or potential to develop a research program.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an SLP.
- Possession of or eligibility for South Dakota state licensure as an SLP.
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification or eligibility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical education and supervise SLP clinical practicum.
- Develop and pursue a research program related to SLP.
- Contribute to the department, college, and university through service.
- Engage in didactic classroom education.
- Address a variety of SLP-related topics to meet department needs.
