The College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center invites applications from outstanding teachers, researchers and collaborators for a 9-month, tenure-track Audiology faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology (http://www.uthsc.edu/asp/). Required qualifications include: (a) Ph.D. in Hearing Science or related fields (b) strong record of research scholarship in peer-reviewed journals commensurate with academic level, and (c) a desire to work in a dynamic and collegial academic environment. Applicants with expertise in any area of Audiology or Hearing Science will be considered. Responsibilities include teaching, supervising student research, conducting research in an area of interest, and service. Preferred Qualifications include: (a) Teaching experience in Audiology or Hearing Science courses, (b) Experience seeking extramural funding to support a research program, (c) Experience mentoring student research.

The Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology is physically located adjacent to the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville and is part of the College of Health Professions at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
