Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor - SLP
Position Overview
The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (SCSD) at the University of Memphis seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Memphis Speech and Hearing Center team in a limited clinical faculty position (full time contract with benefits running through June 30, 2026 with possibility to extend as funding allows). This non-tenure-track role offers an exciting opportunity to work with diverse populations while contributing to the education of future SLPs through clinical supervision of graduate students. This position is primarily geared toward serving pediatric clients, including participating in Porter-Leath HeadStart screenings, completing speech-language evaluations, and providing group and individual pediatric speech-language therapy, primarily to support autistic children. As a clinical faculty member, there is an expectation to provide some service to the School outside of the clinic, including participating in selected committees and meetings. This position is available immediately. SCSD will begin reviewing applications on June 30, 2025. https://workforum.memphis.edu/hr/postings/44505
