As the demand for bilingual speech-language pathologists continues to grow nationwide,  CSD programs must adapt to effectively train and supervise graduate students serving culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Bilingual students bring unique strengths to the field, yet they may also face distinct challenges: navigating dual language proficiency, balancing culturally responsive care, and meeting clinical competencies in both languages.
