As artificial intelligence (AI)-driven breakthroughs and generative AI (Gen AI) applications continue to proliferate EdTech, MedTech, and HealthTech, the presence of AI is becoming increasingly common. However, this growing prevalence has not diminished the necessity to improve our collective understanding of the technology. This webinar addresses understanding its ethical implications and promotes equitable, human-centered AI applications in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD) education and clinical practice. Participants will learn to assess their own and their departments’ readiness to evaluate AI tools effectively and responsibly. By developing a framework for discussing and applying AI in educational and clinical decision-making, attendees will be equipped to lead with an ethical and informed awareness of AI and Gen AI.
