2021 Virtual Annual Conference
4/8/2021 - 4/10/2021
CAPCSD’s 41st Annual Conference will bring a new experience this year!
For the past 42 years, the conference has been held in various cities across the United States and has the reputation for being a leading conference in speech-language pathology. Current and future administrators in speech and hearing departments throughout the nation and abroad, find much benefit to collaborate, connect, explore, and learn together about issues unique to the discipline.
This year will be different. Canceling the conference last year was disappointing but necessary. CAPCSD made the commitment to offer the annual conference in 2021 and the Conference Planning Committee worked hard to put together a dynamic virtual program.
The conference, based heavily on attendee feedback, is designed to provide sessions on timely topics for deans, chairs, program directors, clinic directors, and faculty. There are invited sessions from leaders in the field, as well as accepted call for papers and posters (new this year), that add to the diversity and depth of the sessions. The 2021 conference is designed to ensure that attendees from all time zones have access to the conference and poster sessions.
The virtual conference also provides ways for attendees to connect with our sponsors (exhibitors). You can learn about valuable products to enhance and support you and your program.
Although we cannot meet in person in 2021, the conference will go on. A virtual conference has advantages, allowing members who might otherwise not be able to attend due to travel, family responsibilities, those out of the country, etc., the opportunity to do so. All are welcome and encouraged to attend!
